best roommate ever!
I came home to dinner, plated and ready for me!! Roasted pork tenderloin, roasted potatoes, and cucumber salad - Lizardeebee is the best!! As for tonight, I found some time to swim between swim lessons and my second round of dive. I did a quick 800 yards of mostly freestyle. I am hoping to work back up to 2000 yards in an hour…

long run, diving, babysitting, and redecorating...
Yesterday Jenny and I did a long run of 9.65 miles at an 11:45 pace. It was nice and comfortable, though it was very cold in the morning, and there was a lot of ice. There were some close calls on the ice, but luckily all were during walk breaks! It was a fantastic way to start the day. I also coached my dive lessons yesterday, and am about to head out to sub for the other diving instructor...

5.1 mi run tonight
I hit the treadmill at HCC in between my lesson with Addy - the cutest little kid in the world and daughter of a super awesome paleo caveman - and high school dive practice. Tuesday's workout and run
With impending snow, FCPS canceled after school activities, so my dive practice was canceled, but Herndon did not cancel classes, so I still had to teach until 6:30. first long run of 2011
I just got back from a 9.42 mile long run with Jenny on this cold and blustery morning! Weather.com said that with the wind chill it felt like 12 F. We just layered up and went to it, trotting along at a nice and easy 11:54 pace using 2:2 intervals. It really is a great way to cover a nice amount of distance! I am hoping though our training that we can get to a 3:2 interval and maybe drop...

Saturday....
Quick (I took it easy too) workout with Jillian via 6 week 6 pack. My upper back/shoulders are still pretty sore, so it just focused the whole workout on my lower abs. Now I’m off to coach diving for 3 hours. Hopefully I will remember to take it easy and not feel beaten up like I did last night!
