How much is too much to spend per month on fitness hobbies?

I mean I already have a running shoe problem - since I suppinate, I have to replace my shoes every 150 to 200 miles because I MASH them on the outside. I think I added everything up just for running and it came out to $3500 a year (races included)… Plus my gym membership, not to mention swim stuff… Now I think I want a climbing gym membership (though I am waiting until we have a new roommate!)… all that - plus random open gyms… I will be spending over $5000 on fitness hobbies a year!

Is that too much?
